Additionally, he serves as a member of the Director’s Counsel for Coney Island Preparatory School.

Karan Kukreja, Esq.
Campaign Committee Member Karan Kukreja, Esq. is a public defender with Queens Defenders. He first met our candidate in Queens County Criminal Court, where our candidate was, at that time, a court attorney to a Judge of that court. Campaign Committee Member Charlie Low, Esq. began his legal career while still an undergraduate student at Washington University in Saint Louis. He volunteered as an investigative intern at The Legal Aid Society, where he met and worked under the supervision of our candidate. Linares of the Federal District Court for the District of New Jersey.
Charlie and his wife, a Harvard Law School graduate and associate at Paul Weiss LLP, recently moved into their new home in Manhattan’s Upper East Side, the same neighborhood where Charlie grew up.
Stefan F. Moore, Sr.

Moore, Sr. recently retired from the premier federal law enforcement agency in the U.S., a career that culminated in the position of IT Specialist for over 20 of his 35 years there. Stefan enjoys programming, running, and dabbles in the photographic arts.
Stefan first crossed paths with our candidate in 2007 when, after registering as a returning student at Broward College on his way to earning a master’s degree in computer science (Florida International University, class of 2012), Stefan enrolled in a calculus class taught by our candidate, then a full-time mathematics professor and part-time law student (University of Miami, class of 2010). By the end of the semester, they had become friends, and soon thereafter, our candidate was adopted into the family by him, his wife and his three adult children.
Our candidate also is the proud godfather of Stefan’s 12-year-old grandson, Stefan F. Moore, III.
Campaign Committee Member Von Steven and our candidate have known each other since 2006, having met at the University of Miami, where our candidate earned his Juris Doctorate and Von earned his bachelor’s degree in history and American studies. They have been close friends ever since, even as Von went on to earn his MBA at Indiana University. Von currently works as an independent HR/talent consultant for various organizations.
Von has as eclectic a personality as they come. Besides his career, he has written a screenplay, run a sketch comedy improv show, coached and played competitive rugby, and volunteers with his Indiana alma mater as a career advisor/mentor for current students.
